Project overview

Rosalind Wyatt is a hand lettering artist, every year she commisions and releases an animated christmas card. For 2017 Rosalind approached me to produce the card for her. She provided me with a hand lettering piece she had produced for the words Merry Christmas along with some collected imagery from her archive.

Production

With a brief description of the look and feel that Rosalind was after with the Christmas card I created a static endframe for the card. Once this was approved I sourced extra assets required for the animation such as sound effects and textures. Editing all the assets together in After Effects with custom animations and effects to create the end result above.

The card was produced within a 2 week window as a freelance job and was shared across Rosalind's social channels with great responses and reactions.
